It sounds weird but I just ate that

As you can see from the title, yea, I ate this for my lunch.

It's porridge, a mixture of potatoes, carrots, groundnuts, hot dogs, fish balls, chicken breast meat altogether. What a weird combination.

I suppose it's a concoction.

Wow. I had a concoction for my lunch. And thank god, I'm still alive.

After some MIA...

Time flies. It's been a week since I last updated something in this blog. Not that I don't want to write anything here or just being supremely lazy, but it's impossible for me to come online on the past week as I went to Johor Bahru & Singapore since last Thursday. That was an unexpected trip. Will be going there next time with Teresa, definitely. (I proooomise you, Teresa :p ) After spending days there, I got back to home yesterday afternoon. Was too bored to stay at home so I had decided to pay my buddy a visit at Johor Bahru (JB). For those who hasn't heard of JB, it's actually the 2nd biggest city in Malaysia which is situated at the southern part of peninsular Malaysia.

I had only decided to go there by myself last minute on last Thursday. Went there on Friday early morning by taking bus and train and etc. That was my first getaway by my own so I was feeling pretty excited on that moment. Carrying a big camera bag and a luggage on the same mention it was peak hours as people were rushing to work. Anyway, I managed to get a bus right after I reached the bus station. Vroooom... JB, here I came! Reached there after 4 hours then waited for one and half hour for him because he was having some facial treatment with Yikki. Let me show you Yikki with facial musk on. (hopefully he's not reading this :/ )

According to Billy, I had tried most of the "significant" foods available in JB. First day I had iced kacang with chocolate topping, rojak, and also some fried taufu-pok (the ingredients of it are much likely with bean curd) . I must say the fried taufu-pok was yummy! It stuffed with cucumber and you should dip it in the chili sos before eating it.

This is the rojak that I was mentioning. It looks quite disgusting but it's yummy! There's peanuts in the sos. :))

For the iced kacang chocolate lover, you can add the chocolate topping as much as you want - if you are a chocolate lover, you'll definitely love this.

After settling down at Billy's home, we then headed to his secondary school (Foon Yew High School) for "sight-seeing" since we got nothing to do.

I was playing around with B&W (black & white).

Me carrying my camera bag.

I even asked Billy to jump because I have a thing for shooting jumping motion. And so he did. -_-"

This.

And these.

All I can say is he's got talent in jumping with different styles and excellent expression. Don't you agree?? (I'm gonna get killed by him for posting these up :/ )

After some cam whoring, we then headed to City Square. The popiah I had at a small street near City Square was heavenly. This picture was taken when the uncle was making the popiah.

Anyway, we had steamboat for our dinner with Yikki, May, and some of their friends. Went to Danga Bay after having our dinner. It's beautiful. Met Sukki after that and had supper at Ayub. The tosai was awesome, I gotta tell you.

Second day we had bah kut teh for lunch. It's different from the bah kut teh I had back in KL. I liked it pretty much. Went to a bar late at night with the gang. It was a wonderful night - had smoothies and wine, too. Was feeling tipsy after drinking some wine - I was lame, huh. Anyway, we spent our night in Sukki's house as her family had gone to Melaka. Got shocked by the amount of mattress in her house. :p

After woke up in afternoon, we then headed to Don Sushi. It was darn cheap as we had ordered curry katsu don, agedashi tofu, tempura moriawasen, ten zaru soba, zaru soba, salmon sushi, ebiko sushi, tamago sushi and 3 icecream -- all for RM90 only! :)) Headed back to Sukki's house and she made a lovely latte. Well, I wished I know how to make a latte without burning down the kitchen. Okay, just forget it and accept the fact that I am bad in cooking or just simply engaging in activities related with kitchen. =.=

After drinking latte and eating some green apple dipped with whipped cream, we then fetched Sukki to work. Had some kueh-teoh-chai for dinner. It's hard to describe what it is but it's quite nice. After having dinner, Billy, Yikki and I headed to TGI Fridays for nachos. Sukki joined us after finishing her work. We were planning to go somewhere else but some bad things had happened so we went back after that. Hope everything is alright now.

Went to Singapore on Monday. Shit I couldn't get my money out from atm machine. Luckily Billy lend me some. Singapore is a nice city with fresh air (much fresher than the air in Malaysia - just compare the air of busy streets in Bukit Bintang and Orchard Road), nice car (almost 99% of the car is dust-free), good transport system (much more convenience and always sticks with schedules).

Anyway bought some stuff and spent some money on eating. I had takoyaki at Bugis, beard papa, fish porridge, Ben & Jerry at Vivo City, cheesy hotdog from GoGo in Takashimaya, the Ultimate from Coffeebean, and yam pie from Burger King. Cool.

We spent 2 hours sitting at the Coffeebean in Orchard Road, just day-dreaming there. The photo below was taken in front of the Paragon at Orchard Road. Err.. sorry for the overexposure.

I got to tell you how mad we were - we walked all the way from Orchard Road to Bugis. I think we'd walked for at least half an hour. My leg was swollen but heck, it was fun.

At least it was pretty fun by looking at some people who's acting like a weirdo, rite? :p

The above pictures were taken at outside of the Singapore Arts Museum. The first picture is an art piece of Ju Ming, called Living World. Keropok Man from Singapore Daily Photo had posted a photo of it with some interesting narratives on the other day, too. Whereas for the second picture, I have no idea with the name of the sculpture.

We met Sukki and Yikki after got back to JB and had supper at a mamak stall. Had mee rebus and grilled chicken wings (marinated with chili powder). They were delicious!! This was the last night I spent in JB. I had a great time with all of them. :))

The next morning, I had beef noodles soup and duck meat for breakfast. It's yummylicious! I miss it already. In fact, I miss the foods in JB already. They are drooling over me now.

And now I'm praying so hard to God - please don't put me on weight lol.

p/s: anyone who's reading this pls help me to do an easy survey which is situated on the sidebar. (look at the right side of my blog) Thank you so much! :)

It's Chocolate time

Now, let me get you tempted with this.

Chocolate.

Hershey's Kisses. Ohh and Toblerone.

Rich dark sweet chocolate. Swiss milk chocolate with honey and Almond Nougat.

Hmm.. nice. Just NICE.

But you wouldn't want to know how I've got it. You wouldn't want to.

It's beyond your imagination.

======

Oh, in case you're feeling damn bored now, let me show you some picture which you can laugh yourself out with. Well, at least try not to laugh out too loud :p

If I didn't tell you, I was playing with my friend's cool aviator shades which doesn't look THAT cool on me, in the bus. Guess I just don't meant for aviator shades :(

By the way, do buy polarized sunglasses - the easiest way to get rid of glare. And you can see rainbow-like colour from the reflection of each and every car passing by. Cool.

The world is so colourful.

It's great to be home

I missed my home sweet home so much lately, whenever I was feeling hectic with my studies and everything. Missed my bed, missed my family, and not to forget the home-cook dishes!

It's great to be home, because finally, I managed to eat some of my favourite dishes. Simple dishes which take my hearts away. Steamed tofu with fried onions, pumpkin, and steamed brinjal with fried onions!

Ok, I've got to say I can't hold it anymore. It's time to eat.

Dizzie day

Yesterday, I began my day with sneezing. Had a class after that but it was horrifying cause I've sick! The flu was killing me!! Now I'm still feeling dizzy... Flu..still. *hachoooo!*

As what I've promised to my sis, I went to Midvaley with her for her new year shopping. The so-tall Xiao Yi also came along with us too. Oh.. I saw a knee-length trousers at Zara. Almost black. The fabric was rough-like looking. I really like it after the try-on but it gonna costs me RM 160! Hmm.. Worth it.. or not? Anyway, I put it back at last after much consideration. *regret now* I think now it probably has been sold as that's the last of the size :((

After sitting down at Coffeebean, we've started to camwhore. That's what we could do others than chatting :p Vanila latte was nice.

Dinner at Chopstik Noodle House was ok. The tofu was nice and not to mention the dessert that we had! I had forgotten to take the picture as we were busy eating it :p The dessert is called Citrus Romance, a mixture of ice with freshly-blended orange juice, with longan, guai leng gou, hoi dai ye, and some other stuff inside it. Yum yum...

Back to Kajang after that and headed off to Station One for yam cha. Not really much people around but I saw my primary schoolmates there :)

I shared out a Tosai with my sis for our second round at mamak with Siew the Lao-Siew, Kah Chun the Lao-Lee, and Hotren the Lao-Zheng. We had tons of laugh there!! My face had become numb and just couldn't stop laughing with my sister.

Reached home at 1am. Eh, you must be wondering if I was really sick, right? :p

Alright, drama time. Adieu.

Bubbling nite

Went out with Alex yesterday nite and it was bubbling! There's few reasons why I say so. Cos I've not seen him for AGES since he started his studies in Aussie, had a decent talk with him, had a wonderful dinner at Chillis, watched The Guardian afterthat, and drove his MIGHTY track on the way back.

Ok.. I'll just skip to the food part. Dinner at Chillis was greatttt! I ordered myself a Monterey Chicken while Alex had a Salmon thingy, of cos Nachos was in the list too, and last but not least, the dessert Molten Chocolate Cake. The Monterey Chicken was a combination of grilled chicken breast, some veggies, a huge marshed potatoes which was so YUMMY, and some beef bacon served on top of the chicken. HEAVENLY. Alex's salmon was nice too but I prefer my Monterey chicken anyway xD We were bloated by the time we finished the main course and each of us only had a piece of nachos. But Alex still insisted to order the Molten Chocolate Cake which I never tried before and decided to have the nachos take away. The Molten Chocolate Cake was heavenly. Indeed, much better than heavenly. Just FANTABULOUS! I almost fainted cos of the bubbly taste of it! SOoooo yummy!! So this was the best dessert I've ever tried before. There's a chocolate spongecake on the bottom and a vanila icecream with a chocolate coating on top of it. It was nice as I could taste the coldness of the icecream and I could feel the heat from the spongecake at the same time. What I can say is --- try this out urself!!

Here comes the movie part. The Guardian was NICE and it was directed by the director of The Fugitive.

I might be biased cos this movie was starring by Ashton Kutcher. My favourite hottie! All I can say is his acting skill has improved again *clap clap* cos I could feel the pain when his eyes were fulled with tears. I was impressed by Kevin Costner after the previous movie of him that I had seen ages ago - The Waterworld. He was tough still though I could clearly see the wrinkles on his face. And Melissa Sagemiller was stunning. Well of cos I was fulled with envious cos she kissed Ashton! The hottie was as hot as he used to be and of cos he was cute! SO cute and sexy till I couldn't stop drooling. Anyway, u can see the review of this movie here.

Sorry guys, I couldn't help myself for posting this big picture of my babe~

Oh how I wish I could be Melissa?!

Friday

Yesterday was friday, 28th. Not 13th. So i supposed it was a good day. Went 1u with my bf and we had a movie, operation undercover. Not bad though. At least it's better than the previous Hong Kong gangster movie. We had lunch at japs restaurant. Ordered agedashi tofu which is my all time favourite, and chicken teriyaki. He had a gekikara ramen and i had a curry rice (coz felt not fulfilled by the curry rice that i had at ton chan (i spelled wrongly on previous post-toh kun). The tofu was nice, n the chicken, n the curry... but we cant finish it coz we were too full. After lunch, we went on a shopping spree. Bought a jeans at Topshop, then a green tight shirt at Miss Selfridges which both got a 10% off (membercard), then a shoes at Nose, and a 30% off ck jeans which is new arrival. Like mad..man. I thk it's ok coz i've not shopping for quite some time :p

p/s: go CK with ur frens, buy 5 pieces of jeans or clothing and u'll get 50% off for each of them! (1 pieces for 10%, 2 for 20% and so on until 50% off)

contented~

Today (should be considered as yesterday--its 3am now in da morning) went The Curve with my frens. I've not seen suet yee for quite a long time (n now she's back from sarawak for holidays) and have not met half-banana, shou mei, and hui wen for... I thk its 2 or 3 months? So we decided to have an outing together, five of us.. which was nice :)

We reached Cineplex at 11am n we had our movie which started 10min right after we reached ther.. quite a rush.. But since we wanna finish it earlier... so.. Anyway, we watched the World Trade Centre. Nicholas Cage was awesome as always n its a touchful movie though.. *teary eyed* Had learned something from the movie: we must try to help the ppl around us, we must try to giv n take, we must tell our loved one that we love 'em.. n if u've not done this before, pls do this NOW. Tell the ppl that u love so much:" i love ya.." If not, maybe u'll feel regret someday.

It's time for lunch after the movie-hour. We lepak from the Cineplex to The Curve n had not decided wat to eat -.-" Actually wanna try shabu shabu which is just newly opening but no ppl inside... quite scary :p Anyway, had lunch in Toh-kun (if i not mistaken) afterthat.. Ordered a curry rice.. ish.. Never tried this kinda curry rice before. Just a few "slices" of pork inside with the curry. It's slices but not pieces.. so its REALLY TINY.. and it's even more expensive than the katsu don which hav a big pork chop!! Not fair le.. and the miso soup is YUKsss.. not nice at all.. some weird taste in it.. Wat the... I swear i'll never go there again! ever! Despite the food thingy, we had a great time there.. we chat, laugh.. was so much fun :p

Had a walk after our meal. Went Borders n had some browse-through. Noticed a book.. The Ultimate Workout Book.. It has all kinda workout which is simple to do.. even included yoga n some pilates as well.. Looks like it gonna help me a lot--->if i buy it =D Have to save lotsa pocket money then though it sounds Impossible :p

Ate Baskin-robbins on our way bac to Cineplex.. rasberry cheesecake ice-cream with some graham nuts in it... yummy... but have to REALLY start my workout now!! Let's get started~

Hmm...

Hooray!! Finally. Finished my final exam... should be happy with it but somehow, am feeling lonely... cos the person which i missed the most is not here. Wanna spend sometime with him but he seems so busy... haih...

Planned to go kl with fren but in the end my fren cant make it... wad the... ffk me...*sob* Anyway, went alamanda for lunch with teresa n billy. Ate till my heart out... We ordered 2 pizza-one regular n one personal, a nice garden salad, chicken wings, both garlic bread n bread stix... ish ish... Hmm..for sure, we couldnt finish the pizza... so we had a take-away. Its not good to waste food anyway :p

After the meal, we went starbucks.. going starbucks is like a "habit" for us now. haha... bought a hot latte while teresa ordered a hot chocolate hazelnut n billy had a double expresso. Hmm... my latte was as usual... not too heavy... but a bit creamer than usual....too much steamed milk maybe. Billy's expresso (no...its expresso x2) was bitter than ever!! i mean...its sOoo bitter man... teresa's hot chocolate hazelnut was nice thou :D It taste good when it was not so hot :p Gotta try it nex time...lol

This meal was bit heavy for my diet now. But today since is our last day for our very first sem, so decided to have something "good" before it ends :D

Bye my dear frens. Hopefully u guys'll have a great holidays. till then, see u guys after 3 weeks. will miss ya :p
