Comment ca va?

Hey ya (if there's still anyone reading this). I've abandoned the blog for the longest time, I know. Guess I've lost my mojo in blogging /writing since the past year. Sometimes when something really strike me up in my mind, I just couldn't state them down in words before I could still remember.

Hence, the longest-ever hiatus up to date. Hmm, what an excuse.

So. Life's been good for me, if the working life doesn't count. I have started working since June when I was still soaking in the holiday mood which I've always longed for. The typical working hours and workload just couldn't make me smile and laugh from the bottom of my heart anymore like those days back in my uni life.

Sounds like I don't satisfy enough for my job. Yea, I guess? Maybe I am not sure with the path that I'm walking on right now; whether is it wise for me to stand still for..say... the next 5 years. I just keep thinking whether I will be sick it or regret of choosing this. I am STILL sucks at making choices if I really don't have a concrete idea of it. Anyway, sometimes I would think that this career path has good potential, definitely and will always be challenging despite some of its seemingly-tedious daily routine work. The point of this path is, you have to deal with PEOPLE, poeple and people - both internal and external ''customers''. But of course, management skill is utterly important; same goes to decision-making, multi-tasking, and pandai-pandai ing (that's what I think a freshie should have, as normally we freshie would never learn to say ''no'' to those tasks which are not within your work area).

So, be pandai-pandai at all times if not you will just end up NOT finishing the things that you are supposed to do.

When you are not getting right-things done, you are just not doing the right things.

"What is your ideal working place? And what is your dream job or at least having a job which will make you a happy person?"

Those are some of the questions running in my mind now.

Less than 3 months I'll be done with my contract job and HOPEFULLY I could have a holiday to loosen up my mind for quite a bit.

But that said, I should start looking for another job if I'm not staying in my current company. Hmm... now off to bed..

An imperfect closure

So many things happened lately... and finally leads to the closure. The closure of one chapter of my life which means the beginning of a new starting point. We had so much fun chatting, working, playing and singing together.

I'm gonna miss you, Ann. And all others.

Cuteness!

Guess what I saw today when I walked into a photocopy shop to get my notes photocopied?

This!!

A small little baby pug! It is soooo cute ok!

The shop lady scared it might run off while she's doing her work, so she placed it on the chair. The pug as small as it seems, was too scared to jump off the chair. I had quite a lot of fun playing with the pug. She (it's a gal) kept yawning from time to time (with sound!! it's super cute k!), I guess it's because she was sick of her restricted moving area.

see.. she is so super tiny even my palm is bigger than her head lol.

yawning~

In the end, I gave my cellphone number to the shop lady, literally "begging" her to call me up if the people who's going to take her decided not to take her anymore. Now guys, please pleaseeee pray for me ok.... ;)

one more shot of her ;p

On an unrelated note, does anyone has any idea which webcam model is more reliable? I'm eyeing on a Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks, as it's 2MP and has other pretty cool specification. Ar, I'm a noob in gadget; can anyone gives me some advices? ;'(

Oh no, did I not tell you I have a thing for floral lately. Some people might think it's tacky to wear; it would turn you into a granny probably anytime. Ngek ngek, I would love be a granny anyway.. only if I bought one of those! lol. Okay, crap aside. I've tried this Topshop floral blouse just now and I fell in love with it immediately. But as my initial target was not shopping, so I gave it back to the SA very reluctantly. It's not that pricey but after a 10% discount and 25 bucks voucher, I still need some time to think about. But hey! It's last piece. Sigh.

So, what do you think? Should I buy it or should I pass? Please drop me some comments if you have any!

ahem, ignore the unmatchy brassiere please...

With some red tiny floral and other mixes of colour, I'm thinking a Yes... Hmm, decision decision.

Ta-da!

I've bought something COOL for you guys...

Okay, here's a peep..

Can't see? Let's open the paper bag.. and see what's inside k.

Ta-da! It's ice cubes!

See, I've told you rite? It's COOL (cold).

lol.

Of Human Pets and Dalmation Dog

Hi everyone, I'm back=) Sorry for not updating on a regular basis. I've been busy for the past week for erm... playing Facebook (*blush*), cleaning up my room, and doing some reading as well. Oh well, I'm not blaming FB but I've been spending a lot of my precious time sitting here, poking friends, giving stuff to friends and etc. Not to mention the farking Human Pets application!

People out there who's in FB, don't ever add this application because you'll just end up like me, spending hours here to build up the points, and keep buying some cute looking guys/ girls as your pet! Oh well, I should have come back to the point that -- It ROCKS! To be honest, I've gotta say perhaps it's the coolest application EVER in FB!! lol

OK. ENOUGH OF THE FACEBOOK TALK. -__-""

Anyway, I've got one serious question to ask you guys. I'm totally freaking out now. You see, last 2 weeks I went to Tioman Island and had "happily" gotten some serious sun-tanned skin. It was really hurt. It's not hurting me anymore BUT my skin has started peeling off. It's really normal to have skin peeling off but my case is a bit of different. Some parts of my skin have gotten fairer now, but some parts don't (especially my arms). It looks like 101 Dalmation Dog but it's the opposite (white spots scattered over my skin). IMAGINE THAT. Totally gross. Should I use some body scrub to scrub them off? Or should I apply more lotions on them? But I scared my darker skin will not peeling off if I applied lotions on them. :/

Please tell me what should I do. It would be great if you could help to change "Emily the Dalmation" to "Emily the Radiant Girl". (having a more radiant skin rather than the unbalanced tone of skin.)

I don't want to look like this!! :(

I want to look like this --

Anyone. help. me. please.
======

On a site note, I'm going to reveal my dark secret. :/ As I've told you just now, I've been cleaning my rooms these past few days. It's a HUGE project as I need to

turn this

into this

And still, I've not done with cleaning up my room yet. Hopefully it will be all neat and tidy again by tomorrow. :)

So guys, you shouldn't be surprised if you saw a title of "Procrastinator" in my blogger profile. :P

How about you my dear friends? Have you been cleaning up your room on a weekly basis? Or monthly? I guess definitely won't be a yearly basis like me. *runs away*

Btw, here's what I found while tidying up a stack of photos.

Have a nice day everyone ;)

Shooting stars

As I was watching my choice of classic romance movie again, The Notebook, there's this beautiful line, which has practically taken my breath away, despite other countless scenes in the movie that will also take your breath away and probably remind you of your first love/true love, too:
"They are shooting stars, a spectacular moment of light in the heaven of fleeting glimpse of eternity, and then a flash, they're gone."

It makes me wonder, of all the littlest things I've gone through and it's tears of what I've all got.

It is the movie which will reach out for your heart and will force you to hold a box of tissues throughout the two hours.

******

I haven't been updating my blog for over 2 weeks as some of you might wondering where and what I've been to for the very moment. Yes, I had a vacation at somewhere and I did meet up with some friends during the past 2 weeks. And yes, too, I had some time sitting in front of my laptop and doing nothing but surfing aimlessly, watching dramas, pondering over everything and eating. Hmm.. must be the mode of being very-unproductive had attacked me. I was too lazy to write anything. I was lazy to walk. I was lazy to go out. But what I couldn't stop doing is enjoying the alcohol. You see, 2 weeks of not writing anything here, there were exactly ONE week of drinking sessions at night:

@ 7atenin3
@ apartment in Tioman.
@ chairs beside the swimming pool and the lobby of the suite in Tioman.
@ Maison with the gals.
@ home with a couple of friends.(picture coming soon)
@ Belakong with a friend of mine.

Okay, now I've got to tell you that I am not an alcoholic. I am not addicted to it. Stop telling me the bad of drinking because it makes me feel so good. It makes me instantly forget about things.

******

For those who're staying in Malaysia, you must be heard of the sad incident in Tioman, which happened on last weekend.

It was a family trip, with 14 of us altogether, having spent some hot summer time at an lovely island and Tioman was our choice.

Left: me with dad. Right: cousin and sis.

As you can see, we were helding our hands on the top of the boot, while standing on the dock of the ferry. It was dangerous, I know. But it was tons of fun when we enjoying the breeze passing through our face and kissing the sunshine, by standing on the dock. =)

I want your kiss.

It's the burning ferry as seen from afar. 8 persons had died from the incident. May they rest in peace. When we saw that burning ship, we didn't know that's a ferry which were carrying the tourists to Tioman, just like us too. :/ I couldn't imagine if it was us on the ferry.

Day one drinking.

Day2: snorkeling.

I had a walk alone, on the beach.

Watching the sun vanished.

Enjoying the view.

Day2: drinking with sis. Dry gin mixed up with coke. Thanks to someone for introducing this nice gin. Bombay Sapphire is nice. =) Oh we had some Heineken while chatting with the uncle who's staying near our apartment.

My lovely cousin on the right.

On the last day we were there, we had waited for our ferry for almost 4 hour plus. We bathed under the sun as there were too many people waiting for the ferry too. So it wasn't a good idea if we hide ourself under the trees as the trees were kinda far from the jetty.

She's too adorable. I couldn't stop snapping her picture.

Her brother is very cute too. Please excuse the frowning face. He's cute when he smiled (which he rarely did).

My lil' cousin stole the vintage sunnies from me and I snapped him wearing it. I think he looked sexy in it. =))))

If you could find me somewhere in the middle of the picture, eating Cheezels while posing for no reason. :P

Finally, the ferry had arrived. I saw a beautiful sunset whilst sitting in the ferry.

There was some problem with the ferry on our way back to Mersing. According to the boatman, our ferry was running out of oil and won't be enough before we reached Mersing's jetty. So we had stopped in the middle of the ocean because the engine had gone dead, without air-cond fuctioning and with just a little lightings available, we tried to stay calm. After almost an hour, a ferry came to rescue.

That was the brightest light I've ever seen.

And I enjoyed looking at the stars with my sis on the dock of the ferry that night. It was a beautiful night with zillion of dazzling stars scattered in the sky.

Reporters were making notes while interviewing the passengers.

And it was really late after we reached Yong Peng so we decided to spend a night at my aunt's place. (which was the house I'd grown up in.)

Chilling morning and it was foggy!! =))

We had some yummy breakfast at a place where they're famous of the noodles (fried mee and loh-mee). It may not looks as good as it tastes.

After the lovely breakfast, I had a ride on the motorbike with my cousin driving. Wind was blowing, sun was shining. Arrr.

Well, it's been ages since I last drove a motorbike too. =)))

Penang trip

So here's how the story of penang trip started: 2 sisters were chatting through MSN messenger.
Sab: sunday nite want go penang?
Sab: sunday nite going then tuesday back
Sab: with Siew, Lisher they all
Sab: and their friends.. not sure
how many of them
Sab: me going for photo shooting
Emi: Shittttt
Emi: serious? I want I want

Emi: they drive?
Sab: ya.. all
petr
ol and toll pay together
Sab: not sure stay where

Sab: but won't be comfy cos have to save ma

Emi: okok.. n
o problem!

So off we go to Penang! On Sunday night, me and my sister took KTM to Lisher's house to meet the gang and also spent a night at her lovely house because our plan had been rescheduled so we will only start driving on Monday early morning. There were 6 of us squeezing into a Wira on our way back to Lisher's house on Sunday night and god I was wondering hard how we were going to squeeze into it on our trip to Penang! After reaching Lisher's house, I felt relieved. Haha.. cos I'd been told that we were going to drive a bigger car which is able to fit all of us comfortably. =)

After watching a movie called Dead Silence, we felt asleep. It was not that scary after all. But honestly speaking, it did scared me sometime. :P We woke up at 4.30am and started driving at past 5. Siew had forgotten to take his money so we drove back to his hostel to take it. Then, we slept all the way in the car while Siew was driving all the way to Ipoh. We stopped at Ipoh rest station for washroom.

*After we got back the car, my sister asked us to pose with the car. So, Lisher and I ended up posing in front of the car and we looked like some bimbos. -_-""

After the bimbo-attempt, we continued our journey to Penang. It took us 3 hours plus to reach Penang! Well, pretty fast huh? Siew and Lisher did speed but they drove safely. So it's all good. =)

A view of the Penang bridge taken from the inside of the car. A bit shaky though as the car was moving. ^.~

After deciding on which hotel to stay in, we parked our car somewhere and started walking. We wanted to go Lorong Selamat for breakfast but ended up touring around at the Morning Market (Pasar Pagi) somewhere near then. We were full energized and kept
walking and had some photo taking.

A typical street view in Penang. There are bunch of roads whic
h looks totally same to me.

*I kept walking in the morning market.

Finally we stopped in a shop to grap our breakfast. The breakfast was not bad though. After having breakfast and some discussion, we decided to go to Kek Lok Si Temple. Since others in the car were not really used to the Penang road compared with me (I'm bad in remembering roads and etc, but seems like my skills were slightly better than all of them :P), so I had to pin-point the road.

We had some photo taking session while on our way up to Kek Lok Si Temple. Nothing special there and some of the shops have been closed due to the less-crowding weekday.

People kept promoting and asking us to buy their stuffs as we were passing by. But of course we didn't bother much. If you are considering to buy stuff from there, remember to potong harga (bargaining price) with them! If the stuff's price is RM20, you have to "cut" until RM 10. If not you'll get cheated by the over-marked price.

We took some photos when we reached one of the temples.

The weather was so hot and we couldn't stop sweating! So, after walking and sweating like pig for quite some time, we stopped and started shooting photos of ourself instead.

*We love jumping, aren't we? =)

We're the most wicked sisters in da world. :-)

*I seriously love jumping.

We had a short rest at the shaded area of the temple for quite a while. Sitting there and doing nothing but just cam-whoring once in a while making us feeling really sleepy. So some of us suggested to check in the hotel and have a short nap then. Before leaving Kek Lok Si Temple,
we saw some kids walking by and so, we started to wave our hand and say hi to them. They were scared, I guess. I mean, just look at the way they run!!

*Kids running away from us! Are we THAT scary?? :P

The cold shower in the hotel was amazing and refreshing especially on a HOT day like this. I bumped into bed right after taking my shower. I was being waking up by the noise of the laptop which was playing so
me Hong Kong movie and the most important part was - I was starving! As the rest of them were sleeping so nicely, I asked my sister to accompany me for buying something to eat. There we go.

Both of us walked and walked, with a map on my hand. Haha. Actually the map was useless to us. We just walked by using our instinct. :P

We had our meal at a small shop selling porridge. It looks simple but it's delicious. And it's quite cheap, too!

The meal was great and we wanted to have a walk still to burn our fat off, so, we walked further up and we dropped by a temple. Of course, we couldn't stop snapping pictures as we used to.

*Praying hard.

When we almost reached our hotel, we saw a bunch of tourists sitting on the beca (a kind transportation back in the old days;looks somewhat similar to bicycle but it carry 2 passengers. ), and we started to get excited. We haven't tried to ride on a beca yet so we forwarded and asked the u
ncle for the price of riding it. It costs us RM8 and I thought it was quite reasonable. So we sticked out butt on the seats and off we go again. Wohooo! It was an awesome experience as we were heart-bumping because the cars and motors seems gonna bump onto us right on the next seconds!

*Sitting on the beca. Beca is cool, man!

My sis with her new fringe on which seems in a mess because of the blowing wind on her face. Haha. But it does looks cute when it's in good shape lol.

You should try this out next time if you're in Penang. Though there's time when the drivers and people on the road will be keep staring at you. Oh well. Who cares?

After eating and beca-ing, we met up with the gang and started to walk again. This time we walked from 5 something in the evening until 11 something at night. I thought my legs gonna paralyzed because of over-walking. Been walking and walking at the night market of Batu Ferenggi. Before that we'd been walking, too, among the small streets until we finally reached Komtar, a shopping center which is quite distance from
our hotel. It was tiring, but fun.

A snapshot of us in the hotel room before leaving on the next morning.

we had Chendol after checking out from the hotel.

After having the well-known Chendol situated at Jalan Penang, we stopped by the Sleeping Buddha Temple and had some photo taking. Another temple is also situated right opposite it which is the Burmese Temple. Nice statue they have. :)

*Siew, Darren, Me, Lisher and Hao Yee.

*Someone jumped before leaving the temple.

Bye bye Penang!

p/s: Pictures with * sign on were taken by Sab, my dear sis! :)
